Hey everyone. Its been a week so sorry I havent posted. I am printed today in the UMD Statesman again. This weeks column is on the lack of funding by Pawlenty and Bush for college students. Also, there was a good Krugman column as usual on Tuesday. Go to his unofficial archive to check it out.

Hello readers. I have a few articles you should view. First, check out my first article in the UMD Statesman! That's right I got printed! Also, check out the transcript from the news conference over Bush being AWOL and such. In addition, there is also a great column from the Washington Post about the AWOL issue.

Hey everybody. Check out Paul Krugman's excellent column. The truth is here: President Bush's smiling face on his recent interview was his only choice. He had to try to put a positive spin on a truly dismal situation.

Also my brother mitch is printed in two places today: Newsweek and the MN Daily.

Hey. I just read the interview with President Bush by Tim Russert on "Meet the Press." Once again, Bush continues to try to defend the Iraq War by saying "Yea, we lied. But he had the CAPACITY to make weapons to attack us." Right, CAPACITY is the reason 520 American soldiers died along with thousands of Iraqi citizens. Great job "President" Bush.

Its a good thing that Paul Krugman is around. Read his article from today. Its a nice look at how the Bush administration is once again covering up their mistakes and blaming others for the mess. Its the usual. Remember how they fudged information to go to war? Didn't happen; that was the CIA and they had to believe them, so therefore, they had to go to war. And also, Saddamm didn't let us in! Sorry gentlemen, your wrong, he did actually let the inspectors in. And about the Budget, lets ignore we fudged the facts two years in a row and promised a surplus and deficit reduction. Didn't happen!

Hey. I just read a column in the NY Times by Kristof and I think it's a good read. For any of you who enjoyed Krugman's column yesterday or understandly believe that his new budget will only serve to throw is in the hole deeper, read this too. Even Paul O'Neil was able to point out the Bush flat out lied in 2001 about being able to pay down the debt and about keeping that great $5.6 trillion surplus we had coming out of the Clinton Administration. What happened? Well, we now have a $521 billion debt for this fiscal year and the surplus has completely vanished, along with $1 trillion of the Social Security surplus. A true conservative would cut spending with cutting taxes, but even Bush can't do that. John McCain is right when he says that Bush and his conservatives are spending like "drunken sailors."

Here is some musical insight: Check out Justin Timberlake's face as he "accidently" exposes Janet Jackson's right breast at the Super Bowl Half-time show. It doesn't appear to be an accident to Timberlake, who looks like a horny teen. I didn't watch it, but when I saw it on the Daily Show last night, I thought it was a joke. Turns out that Justin ripped off the corsette and the red bra that was supposed to keep her from being exposed. Good job Justin.
Hey. I just read Paul Krugman's new column that beautifully outlays the problems with President Bush's 2004 budget. The budget, not surprisingly, shows the deficit to be way above the previous predictions of the administration, who said it would be $14 billion and now it turns out it will be $521 billion. Read his column to learn more about how the deficit came about and how we can combat it. And yes, the partial roll-back of Bush's tax cuts won't do it all.

Hey. I just read some interesting things on my brother's site about Joe Trippi, Dean's former campaign manager. Its a great article and I suggest you read it at his site.

Hey. Reading the Washington Post and I came across something interesting. I think President Bush loves to use the word "healthy" to mislead the American people with every piece of bullshit legislature he comes up with. The new one now is called the "Healthy Marriages" proposals for which he wants to give $1.5 billion towards the promotion of "healthy" marriages. What are healthy marriages to Mr. Bush?
Well as with the "Healthy" forests intiative and the Endangered Species intiative of last year, Bush has interesting and exclusive definitions for healthy things. To him, a healthy marriage is a traditional marriage. Oh, hold on, not so fast gays and lesbians. Your not humans, now your like animals, ironically in the same category as the endangered species he wished to protect with his bill last year. For any of you who don't remember, the intiative basically said this: We are going to save endangered species, most specifically ones in Asia, by allowing pochers to shoot them and using the funds collected by the poaching to make contributions to conservation programs. What? That's right, we are going to save these precious animals by killing some of them, even though they are fucking endangered!
Beautiful! Sounds like the "healthy" forests intiative, which essentially is on the same platform. That says that we will save forests and make them healthier by cutting down "brush" and allowing the timber industry, not the tax payers to benefit. And what's in the new bag? Well, basically we'll make society and families stronger by promoting and encouraging "healthy" marriages, or in other words, we are going to give $1.5 billion to make a bunch of propoganga that says Gay = Bad and being a hypocritical, gun-loving, gay-bashing, environment-hating and animal killing American will save us all. Ugh that's hard to swallow, I am started to sound like a right-wing nut I hate or worse yet the kind of liberal Robert Novak is always describing. No wait, I am that liberal and by the way for those of you not up to date, Novak is under two investigations for his involvement in two scandals, one dealing with the CIA agent whose identity was blown by someone in the White House and Novak wrote about it and also for his knowledge about Senate Republicans spying on Democratic meetings and stealing Democrat's information using a computer glich for a year. Novak = Bad!
